In order to make this simple pancake, you’ll only need: potato, onion, egg, salt, pepper and ketchup. Since they are so common, I bet you already have them in the kitchen. Cheers to no need for a grocery run!

First, I cooked the potato (cut into slices) and onions (shredded) separately (check out the recipe at the end for more details). Next, I emptied the non-stick pan, laid down the potato slices on the bottom and sprinkled the cooked onions evenly on top.
At last, I poured the egg mixture around the pan until it forms a round shape. After waited a couple minutes for the egg to turn firm, I carefully flipped the entire pancake with the help of a big flat plate and pan-fried the other side for a couple of minutes till the pancake’s fully cooked.
That’s it, that’s how I made this delicious potato pancake in three easy steps!
I like the combo of potato pancake with ketchup. Feel free to change things up and use your favorite sauce instead.
